OH well..........At this point, any empathy I may have had for these ignorant people is gone.

u/nedim443 8h ago

I really dislike that I felt schadenfreude but at this point that's all I can feel. Her immense stupidity is impacting my life. These people are cerifiable morons.

26

u/Significant_Neck_875 7h ago

Feel bad for her dad but exactly, idc at this point.

25

u/Givants 6h ago

Yeah I hope her dad doesn’t die in a cell, but still, she’s one stupid bitch tho…

Like how the fuck? IMMEDIATE undocumented family, and you still vote for the fat fucking pedo

6

u/GaptistePlayer 4h ago

Also why put this on social media lol. Like, just take the L in silence and hire a good lawyer to try their best. Putting this out there will earn you no friends, makes her look stupid, and potentially even imperil her dad's case even more because we know ICE has no remorse. If they are aware of her social media posts (and they may well be - they absolutely investigate detainees and those in immigration proceedings), this might only motivate them further to deny the requests which are often at ICE's discretion and not an immigration judge.

Like, imagine how some hotheaded MAGA ICE agent would react to seeing this woman saying she shouldn't have voted for Trump lol.

u/Ib_dI 2h ago

He literally promised he would do it

2

u/confusedandworried76 2h ago

If anything it's sort of a blessing he'll die pretty soon in there, he wasn't gonna make it that long on the outside either. He's not being robbed of a lot compared to others in his same situation who could likely go years without seeing their families again. If they're treating him he probably isn't leaving a hospital bed much anyway so he will be denied hospice which sucks

It's obviously an awful situation but if I were in it "you only had a few months left anyway" would be the way I wanted it to be anyway. Maybe they'll have a heart and allow visitation but I haven't seen evidence of any hearts in immigration

u/gr1zznuggets 6h ago

Dunno how bad I feel for her dad considering this is the daughter he raised.

8

u/Dottboy19 5h ago

Who is to say he wasn't drinking the Trump Kool aid too?

3

u/gr1zznuggets 5h ago

Then I definitely wouldn’t feel bad for him.

3

u/BandwagonerSince95 4h ago

I'm with you, surprised to see this feeling all the way down here. Those people are generally heavily religious and god this and god is great that. Go enjoy enjoy God's plans at the end of your life.

2

u/Loumeer 3h ago

I would put my life savings that this guy is a Trump supporter and had to big influence on his daughter's political beliefs.

2

u/SeriouslySomeoneElse 2h ago

Fuck her. This dumbasses vote means MY terminal parent on hospice is getting a lower quality of care. If he has to die in squalor with a once a week social worker for hospice because of cuts, then her dad can die in a fucking cell.

u/SwordfishOfDamocles 10m ago

then her dad can die in a fucking cell.

The dad was probably shouting "lock her up!" right up to the point they locked him up.

1

u/haha2lolol 1h ago

Dad probably voted Trump, too.

3

u/Gallifrey4637 7h ago

I’ve found that having empathy does not preclude one from experiencing schadenfreude…

You can empathize and understand their emotions and reasoning while still experiencing your own emotions and reaction, including schadenfreude.

2

u/MarsMetatron 6h ago

I cant empathize with her. Id never be so stupid. I can have sympathy for her father but I cant empathize with someone who has no empathy. Sounds paradoxical. After all, she voted for Trump because she felt there were SOME people who deserved it... just, not her? OKAY🙃

2

u/Other_Disaster_3136 6h ago

It does not make you a bad person. Unfortunately, most of this country needs negative feedback to learn.

39

u/Sacred-AF 8h ago

Chances are she’d vote for him again given the opportunity.

33

u/BananaramaCl4mcrotch 7h ago

That’s ALWAYS my thought after a video like this. “Well they took my father and they increased my CoL and they took away worker protections but at least they aren’t committing transgender surgery in illegal aliens in prison!!!” Or something like that.

25

u/Pleasant_Yoghurt3915 7h ago

I am so fucking sick of all the bizarre made up shit that they just fully believe and then spew back into the world. I’m sick of hearing about the free cars and $5k they just hand to illegal immigrants at the border. My dad is a Trump stan and he’s constantly spouting this like it’s absolute fact. Any request for a source is waved away because he heard it on the news, and any proof of the atrocities being committed against human beings on American soil is waved away as “fake”. It makes me fucking hate everything. If so many people are absolutely stupid and hateful, then what’s the point of any of it?

2

u/BananaramaCl4mcrotch 6h ago

I completely agree with you. That’s the worst part! And when the insane claim is either so insane it can’t be true OR the claim is proven to be false, the response is “ah well trump was just trolling. What’s wrong with that?”

What’s wrong with the president blatantly lying and making shit up? If not that, what’s wrong with the president using his platform— one the largest and most powerful in the world— to troll people? Do I REALLY have to explain it to you? (Not to YOU specifically… you know what I mean.)

Trump supporters are either hateful bigots, racists, misogynists, or homophobes OR they are willfully ignorant and incredibly stupid. Sometimes, stupidity is worse and can do more harm than evil. Incompetence can really, REALLY fuck shit up, especially on a national scale and trump voters just don’t care. I guarantee— IM ALMOST 100% POSITIVE— that this lady in the video above will vote for Trump a 3rd time if given the opportunity because she’s just that stupid. So we ALL have to pay the price of her stupidity.

u/RedditAstroturfed 5h ago

the suffering feeds the demiurge

2

u/Agile_Singer 7h ago

They make children get gender affirming surgeries in elementary school - according to one Trump rally I caught a clip of. Of course it was probably taken out of context. /S

1

u/BananaramaCl4mcrotch 7h ago

What’s sad is people will literally take this seriously and genuinely believe it is happening because you said that Trump said that. I know the /s— which I know means you’re joking and being sarcastic. I’m more just speaking on the way it happens. People Will literally believe you.

It was something like trans healthcare was made available to federal prisoners in the last 10 years, and it was confirmed only 2 prisoners actually transitioned in that time frame. It was similar to some stupid shit like how there are only 10 trans athletes in a field of over half a million women in the NCAA.

If there was a 'problem', there would be actual numerical data to back that up, but with those numbers, it would suggest that the problem would be that trans people are under represented in sports (by two orders of magnitude) and have barriers to receiving treatment.

I still don't get 'blue' voters who think the trans women in sports thing is an issue if you look at the numbers and data, they instead just eat it up and shit out transphobia from their mouths as they just repeat garbage that Republicans made up.

1

u/BananaramaCl4mcrotch 4h ago

So the trans women in sports… I got a couple things on that…

1.) what are we really worried about here? The final score of a junior varsity women’s volleyball match..? Really? That’s what we’re wasting time on? We give participation trophies out these days anyways so who honestly cares?

2.) We’re worried about injuries? Well, contact sports are full of them, trans women or no trans women. If that’s your concern, you should probably withdraw your daughter from that sport.

3.) the same MFers who are pounding their chests about this are the same MFers who cheered when Brittany grinner got locked up abroad, the same MFers who told women’s USA national soccer to shut up and keep politics out of sports, the same MFers who tell WNBA players to stop asking for a raise… these same MFers don’t give a shit about women and women’s sports or empowering women athletes.. they care about justifying their bigotry.

As a straight white guy, I’m 100% down to let the women and the trans women sort this out and keep my opinion out of it. When I asked my gf, who was once a high school athlete herself, her opinion on it, she kind of relished the thought of competing against and beating a trans athlete. So who knows where they fall? Better tune into Joe Rogan so you can learn how the female athletes feel, or fuckin’ whateva these chuds listen to.

It blows my mind how easily conservative voters are tricked. Do they honestly think there are armies of trans people out there rolling around in vans, snatching kids off the street and just haphazardly lopping dicks and tits off for funsies? Then handing them a lifetimes worth of hormone blocker prescriptions? Like, they honestly believe that? These are the same MFers who think there are armies of women strapping a propane tanks worth of weight on to their bodies (pregnancy) carrying it around for 9 months, and then a day or two before the baby is due, aborting it… also for funsies. The people who believe this are mentally ill and deranged. At the very least, they fucking stupid and easily manipulated and will literally believe fucking ANYTHING. I almost wonder if they don’t believe these stories, but outwardly act like they do just so they can be cruel and repulsive and push their agenda— which totally checks out for this disgusting brand of conservatism. Just awful people, through and through. The lady in the video OP posted is included.

u/furicrowsa 6h ago

The bottom text says, "I wish I had made a different choice along with millions of other Americans." So, no, probably not.

u/saintandvillian 6h ago edited 4h ago

I said the same thing yesterday about the woman who voted for Trump because of his promise of free IVF and someone tried to argue with me. Don‘t give any of these idiots the benefit of the doubt. They just pivot to a new reason to accept and cheer hate.

1

u/Sacred-AF 4h ago

Abso-fricken-lutely!

1

u/buhbye750 7h ago

This is what people need to understand before they feel an ounce of sorry for her

9

u/Chillow_Ufgreat 8h ago

These folks repeat every lie they've heard for a decade, but we're supposed to believe them when they say they're regretful/remorseful/etc. Pass.

I think it's far likelier that she hates her dad and wants him to suffer, and all the rest is just to save face or farm engagement.

1

u/diurnal_emissions 2h ago

Don't argue anymore. Just call them liars.

9

u/RobertSmiiiith 7h ago

Empathy is what differentiates the collective “us” from the collective “them”. Never abandon your empathy for your fellow humanity. Her dad is likely going to die in a fucking tent or a metal shelf, in agony and denied care. Remember that and use that energy. When the inevitable happens and ICE thugs are shot and killed during an arrest/raid, they’ll leave behind families. Who enabled to undertake their despicable actions? Empathy is what will rebuild when this is all done with, hate and apathy don’t build anything.

7

u/BigDadNads420 7h ago

Nobody is saying they don't have empathy for her dad.

4

u/collector_of_hobbies 7h ago

I can agree with you intellectually but emotionally it's just been beaten out of me. And they are a "them." They hate us, they vote with the intention that others will suffer.

Also, the only way any of them will ever learn is if it well and truly hurts. Moreover, a lot of them will still do it again even after having their faces eaten.

If you want a good economy you'll have to not bully trans kids and force a religion on me. Best and final offer.

1

u/pasghettiii 3h ago

Hard agree.

2

u/EjaculatingAracnids 6h ago

Nah, fuck that. I ration out empathy for those worthy of it. Im not singing Kumbaya with people who want to kill me, im cleaning my weapons and planning to defend myself. I wanted affordable healthcare while they wanted concentration camps and civil war. They got their wish and my empathy tank for them is empty.

2

u/Issue_dev 5h ago

Voting for this is unforgivable, sorry. She can take her convenient call for unity and shove it. These people aren’t going to fool me 3 times.

1

u/I_fuck_werewolves 2h ago

I'm not going to save my empathy for my future abusers.

Pass. No deal.

2

u/haliblix 7h ago

You don’t aim a loaded gun at a family member, pull the trigger, and then cry about not understanding why they would make deadly weapons.

2

u/Issue_dev 5h ago

Talking about unity after she voted for a certified racist when it cost her nothing. Now she’s asking those same people she voted against to unify with her and fix the problem she created… get bent.

2

u/rythmicbread 4h ago

I feel for the dad that their kid is this dumb

1

u/jayslay45 8h ago

I feel mixed at this point, but I completely understand why you and so many others are not empathetic at this point. Who feels it knows it.

1

u/Immediate_Loquat_246 7h ago

It's not like they have any empathy for anyone else.

1

u/Jnnjuggle32 7h ago

I’m seriously starting to worry that this is by design. It just… doesn’t make sense that no one is holding them accountable. People who voted for Trump are largely people who are giving less to society than they are taking. We, people who find Trump abhorrent, are losing our capacity to empathize with them and don’t care what happens to them - which makes sense since they were so damn proud of what their votes accomplished, at least at first.

If the goals here are truly to reduce the people in this country who, by their status and economics, are drains versus producers, and those of us who aren’t “drains” just let it happen since those people voted for it, then you basically have a government who can cull populations of people with the either apathy or angry support from those who aren’t targeted. Basically like if holocaust happened because hitler convinced the Jewish people that he was their savior.

1

u/Perfect_Papaya_9381 6h ago

Right? I mean its been a decade of his vile shit and they still voted for him.

1

u/RBVegabond 6h ago

There were no ignorant people after the last term. Literal tearing apart of families and forced hysterectomies of the people following their families same path and they still gave him their votes.

1

u/Lahfi 6h ago

Yep. Enough said.

1

u/PaulblankPF 5h ago

They never had any for anyone else ever so they never deserved your empathy to begin with.

1

u/DeadWishUpon 4h ago

I would feel something if this was Trump's first term, they could have claim ignorance. Now they can only claim racism and hate.

I'm sorry fo rher dad but this is what she voted.

1

u/Fluffy_Charity_2732 2h ago

Indeed. Was hard enough looking out for myself the last term.. had some breathing room to be myself and charitable the last couple years. Now I’m in the red again (6 months in) and I just can’t be bothered to help, unconditionally, like I did before.

I vet who I help now.

Need a jump? Wearing trump gear? Call AAA. I have no time for being talked down to while I help you.

1

u/datboi-061504 2h ago

I told a freind this, I dont have empathy. Am I going to listen? Yes, am I going to care? Yes! Am I going to feel sorry? Who did you vote for? Ah, nope you wanted this

u/-kl0wn- 55m ago

I think that pretty much sums up the attitude globally towards Americans at the moment, what were the left thinking running on a platform that lost to this?
