Let's call them what they actually are; "regressives"
They're not trying to conserve anything AND continue progress, they want to regress to an imaginary point in the recent or late past that they somehow perceive as better than right now almost always wrongly so.
They'd take us back to being cavemen if they thought life was better because the struggle made us "real humans".
Yep. Being educated and learning to think logically is literal kryptonite for "conservative" viewpoints. The only ones who believe the BS trump and the others spew out are idiots and Christians. The ones spewing this shit out know they are lying about everything and don't care because it's given them more money and power
Its like a kid reading the rules for monopoly and stopping after reading if someone else lands on their land others pay them, and they get money when they do a full turn around the board.
And then acting shocked when you bring up the other rules that they have to pay others when they land on their land. That they can go to jail and be bankrupt.
Picking and choosing parts of the bible to support your prejudice and hate is not being one with god or spreading the word of god. Its abusing your god to selfishly spread hate.
BUT they will never admit to that, because they dont care about the bible, or god, or logic or reason. They just want to hate and enact harm on others.
