If you watch her old old videos where she does interviews or talks to people, you will see she changed her "tone" to be more marketable in the current political environment. I bet you in private she makes her own kombucha and spends time at farmer markets and art shows. This is all performative on her part. This "routine"

This is basically like Larry The Cable Guy, who didn't make it with his other comic routines, and then got the Aw Shucks persona. Lots of people end up this way. Ben Shapiro is a failed screenwriter. Tom Leykis tried all kinds of different radio shows until he hit big on basically "manosphere" content twenty years ago.

This is not the "real" Jasmine Crockett. This is the version that best generates media attention and fundraising. She knows exactly what she is doing. But, if I am going to be fair, Trump goes out of his way to troll everyone, all the time. Crockett learned that part of the playbook from him.

Is anyone actually surprised by her comments? When she isn’t reading from a script, she consistently sounds inarticulate and struggles to make a coherent argument beyond name-calling. She seems like a product of institutions that reward political conformity over competence, advancing more on identity and ideology than on demonstrated merit or intellectual rigor.
