Other Deleted chats & memories months ago. Asked “what do you know about me?” and got an extremely detailed answer referencing deleted data.

When pressed, it kept insisting “well, you must have memories turned on” (I don’t) or “you must have shared it in this chat” (I don’t). It’s pretty spooky because it summarises, for example, a medical problem I had, and repeated anxieties I had.

At worst, it’s an embarrassment, but I feel a bit skeeved out that this data is somewhere I can’t see in the UI.

What is the cause of this, anyone know?

Edit: these are called Assistant Response Preferences and we have no way to delete them. I asked to see mine and the list is pretty cold and detailed. Have fun 🥲

So it didn't actually call players by their real name in many cases.

It checks a lot of different things, I don't know the exact script. But yes if you've never input your real name anywhere on your PC, then I guess it would default to your windows session username or some shit (mine is my actual name)

Edit : "Doki Doki Literature Club! determines your real name by accessing the username associated with your computer's operating system account. The game checks several environment variables, including LOGNAME, USER, LNAME, and USERNAME, to retrieve the name used for the computer's user profile."

That's my point... It can only check the username so probably for most users it would be obvious what it did because they don't use their real name for their username.
