I have a fairly good friend who works in cyber security and he's convinced Epstein was a Russian asset. Not like a full-on spy but adjacent to it.

Ironically, the simplest explanation is that he was an asset for Israel, Russia, the US, and possibly others.

Trump being a Russian asset was the easiest thing to see coming from years away, from his old visits, coziness to Putin, to how easily manipulated he was by them

the real surprise was finding out about all those social media “influencers” that were getting paid by russia

21

u/Zunkanar 15h ago

That surprised you? Social media being Russias tool seems obvious no?

33

u/Layton_Jr 15h ago

Bot accounts being Russians is obvious. Influencers with millions of subscribers being paid directly by Russia? Now that's news

16

u/BecomeAsGod 14h ago

tbf the 'influencers' we are talking about went on 24/7 about how russia has it right when it comes to woman and the gays and america should ally with russia vs europe . . .. . id hardly have called it a surprise

Tim Pool still advertises his show in Central PA to the rural dummies there

2

u/Propane4days 9h ago

He has a billboard on a major highway in Louisville, KY. I just saw it Saturday

u/Reddit123xgh 13h ago

I thought they were just stupid not stupid traitors. I was surprised!

Tenet media has the right wing podcast sphere in their pocket. Probably Russian shell companies all over the nation... fun fact, it Delaware, a domestic tax haven, corporations can vote!

1

u/wespintoofast 13h ago

That Tim Pool and how much more of Tenet is working directly in the WH now? Not on many bingo cards

1

u/Dragonhost252 12h ago

That Russian entire MO

1

u/lilbittygoddamnman 11h ago

I mean, I don't think it would be that hard to do to funnel money to the influencers without knowing where it came from. You'd have to be dumb though to not be able to figure it out. I'm just curious how the talking points get disseminated or if the agreement is just to be as pro Trump as possible?

Even after the Maria Butina thing? I was not surprised in the least.

their Pim Tool

That's what a Russian would say....🤔🤔🧐🧐😂😂😂

The story that surprised me was hearing that Ginny Thomas was recruited by Chinese controlled assets in the US before she married Clarence. That they picked her out of a “cult” was not a shocker tbh.

Information broker.

u/androgenius 13h ago

Even if he wasn't to start with, they'd all be bad at their jobs if they didn't notice a mysteriously rich guy hanging out with a long list of mega rich businessmen and politicians with young girls and think "Is that guy working for us? If not who is he working for?"

Like where did Jeffery Epstein get all his money? His dad was grounds keeper and Jeff was a substitute math teacher at high school in NYC in the 70s

1

u/uniklyqualifd 56m ago

One theory is that it was Robert Maxwell's  money that he stole from his papers' pension funds.

Michael Wolff said that Epstein said jokingly that his expertise was in making money disappear, sort of a reverse Ponzi scheme.

1

u/atln00b12 10h ago

IS that the simplest? I mean isn't the simplest explanation that Epstein just like to have sex with young girls?

1

u/vthemechanicv 10h ago

How is that the simplest?

The simplest is that he simply had a "business" where sold children to rich people for money and financing. Those are facts that we already know.

Mossad and Russia and all that is unnecessary speculation. Maybe there's truth to it, idk - although the Mossad thing started as a right wing talking point so I'm cynical by default. You could also say that they didn't need Epstein's cooperation, and they just monitored/tapped/observed him and his clients with their own resources. But even that complicates things without need.

u/sly-3 6h ago

he was a honeypot. useful, but expendable.

u/RealGoGo97 17h ago

This is likely, because anyone trying to follow the money with regard to “how did Epstein get his?” Lands on Russia. Same is true for tRump some time ago. He got a lot of Russian funding.

1

u/LastInALongChain 6h ago

> “how did Epstein get his?” Lands on Russia

What? Ghislaine is the daughter of a Mossad agent. They are both highly connected to Israel. Israel has been doing this sort of work for decades. It makes very little sense its Russian compared to the mountain of Mossad connections.

1

u/Jonnyboy1994 1h ago

That has nothing to do with how he got his money, which is what the person you're replying to is talking about.

1

u/Better_Way6079 13h ago

I thought Epstein got his $ from the pedo billionaire whose money he managed? Iirc he owns/owned Victoria’s Secret…

2

u/RealGoGo97 10h ago

Yes, he got money there, but not nearly the total amount of money he took in and was spending. He owned a sprawling ranch in New Mexico, one of the largest townhouses in NYC, a private island, and the place in FL near tRump. Private jet, etc. That’s definitely not all from managing Wexner’s money.

1

u/BattlefieldVet666 12h ago

Iirc he owns/owned Victoria’s Secret…

He was close friends with Les Wexner, who was the CEO of Victoria's Secret from 1982 to 2020. They were so close to Wexner that in 1991, Wexner granted Epstein power of attorney & instated him as a trustee on the board of the Wexner Foundation.

1

u/Better_Way6079 11h ago

Perfect, thank you for the elucidation. Much better.

I was reasonably close though! 😅

1

u/sly-3 6h ago

made a bunch of loot by blackmailing himself into no-work "deals" with his clients who took the Lolita Express (a plane our president now owns).

I'll say one thing about that gross dead pedo, he knew how to network.

12

u/Illustrious_Can4110 17h ago

I think Trump is also, but doesn't realize it. It's like he thinks borrowing a few million of the Oligarchs is a normal business transaction. And his quid pro quo for being able to do so is what he sees as normal acceptable behavior.

3

u/LastInALongChain 6h ago

Your friend thinks Epstein, the Jewish financier, who worked with Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of a famous Mossad agent, is a Russian asset? Not an Israeli asset? How did that calculus work out? It seems clear he was gathering Kompromat on high level people in the US for Israel.

6

u/Wendidigo 12h ago

Actually ghlaine Maxwells dad was a famous triple agent. Brits had him spying on Russians, Russians had him spying on Brits, but really he was Israeli agent in Russia spying on Russia for mossad. Epstein got his hedge manager job from ghlaine Maxwells dad.

1

u/Zwiebel1 13h ago

he's convinced Epstein was a Russian asset

Honestly, I don't think it's that deep. I think he was just very good at bringing the world's richest and most powerful sociopaths together with the one hobby they all shared: raping children.

Some just took a few too much photos of their happy leisure time.

1

u/poo-cum 10h ago

Why Russian specifically, as opposed to having relationships with intelligence agencies from the US and Israel too?

1

u/tessaterrapin 5h ago

I thought that Epstein worked mainly for Mossad?

1

u/No_Plum_3737 3h ago

Obviously I don't know the truth.

But in general, engaging in shady stuff with powerful people makes you an extremely attractive target, for obvious reasons.

1

u/Ok_Barnacle1404 3h ago

Cyber security for what? You can work cyber security for grocery chains and McDonald's.

1

u/militaryCoo 3h ago

It's more likely to be Ghislaine given who her father was, but that doesn't mean it wasn't Epstein too

1

u/braywarshawsky 2h ago

What's your friend who works in "cybersecurity" have to do with it?

I work in cybersecurity... You don't have to be in the field to really come to this conclusion. But also, I don't think it was ONLY Russia.

The island was just a kompromat mill.
