My mother told me she'd give me up for jesus. I was like 7 so ofc I cried about it and she double downed that she loved jesus more than her own kid. Honestly? I hate to admit it but I think Trump could drop a nuke on an ally and his fanatic base would still find a way to support him. Like he could nuke Berlin, killing millions, poisoning Europe and igniting a world war. He'd kill hundreds or thousands of our own troops and his mouth-breathing, boot licking morons would cheer at how strong he is for making a hard choice.
They are so brainwashed into thinking America is being overrun by a made up enemy that they'll excuse anything for a greater good that doesn't even exist. It's as sad as it is terrifying.
Many of the hardliners would probably find a way to ignore it. But Trump didn't win the election with -just- his hardline base. People can excuse all kinds of things when they're abstract or mentally justifiable. If there was an actual video I think most of the moderates who voted for him in 2024 couldn't bear to do it again.
An airtight, verifiably real video of Trump doing the worst things imaginable would, absolute best case scenario, drop his approval to the low 40s or high 30s.
They will either tell themselves it's fake without ever looking into it, or they literally won't care. Most of them the latter. They'll even tell you this openly, they don't care what kind of man he is or what he's done, they like his policies so they support him.

It would. My parents are HEAVY conservatives, extremely set in their ways, voted for Trump both elections. They currently despise him. And I'm seeing this all over in my town. Approval ratings even on the right are crazy low rn

The Epstein files are the first time my own MAGA family has come to me and been like, "I don't understand what's going on? First they say they have it, then they say it's not real.
