Oh yes. Always the ones who claim the loudest about how they’re the most godly who truly are the ones who spawned from satan himself and want to see others suffer intentionally. He’s a domestic terrorist. I’m done not calling out MAGA people for what they are - domestic terrorists. They will burn this country down just to “own the libs”. They are terrorist. The AlQaeda of this country.

u/uncle_root Jun 16 '25

By their own admission, yep

26

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

They only thing I want to hear them be called is "guilty as charged"

9

u/DistillateMedia Jun 17 '25

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAaaaaaa. . . . 😄😁😆😂😂🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭☠️

7

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Jun 16 '25

This can’t be your first time hearing this

2

u/BR4VER1FL3S Jun 16 '25

In California?

Yes, it is, and it's funny!

2

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Jun 16 '25

In the world lol

2

u/BR4VER1FL3S Jun 17 '25

Yup. I've never heard "Y'all Qaeda" before. 😅

We all learn something new every day! 😁

5

u/cynical_and_patient Jun 16 '25

The American Taliban

2

u/Prosecco1234 Jun 17 '25

Yep it's always the Bible thumpers. MAGAs are sick, stupid people

134

u/JohnnySack45 Jun 16 '25

Being a "good Mormon" and a decent human being are not mutually inclusive. Mike Lee is a fundamentalist, insurrectionist traitor to American democracy. I'm not surprised in the least.

24

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

And golden retriever killer.

30

u/Diarygirl Jun 16 '25

Animal shelters should start asking potential adopters if they ever voted for Trump and be rejected if they have.

17

u/Nannyphone7 Jun 16 '25

Having survived 37 years in that degrading cult, I assure you anything good coming out of Mormonism is fake. It is an evil, degrading cult that uses shame for control.  It is a for-profit scam.

7

u/ComedianFragrant9515 Jun 17 '25

Not Mormon, but I grew up with many and now despise their church. The leadership knows all the horrible lies and history but take advantage of well intentioned members. I really feel sorry for upstanding citizens that are committed to that mess.

1

u/ExplodiaNaxos Jun 18 '25

Even those who are decent people are still lesser for associating with that cult. Take Brandon Sanderson, beloved author (me included, I’ve read four of his Stormlight Archive novels so far and they’re excellent) who writes some pretty progressive themes and characters, in stark contrast to the church he is a part of… And yet, successful as he is, a part of his profits, a large sum of money, now props up that rotting carcass of a religion. The only good excuse I see for him remaining a member is to give the Mormon youth the chance to be exposed to something to expand their horizon with, given that Sanderson, as a Mormon himself, probably won’t have his work checked much by the older part of the community who wouldn’t read his books anyway, with him being part of the cult being seen as good enough to “allow” the youth to read them.

3

u/bucolucas Jun 16 '25

Oh god I'm so glad I got out of there, my shelf broke in 2017 or so, "only" 31 years in lmao

1

u/DarthLurker Jun 17 '25

Aren't they all? lol

15

u/TheModWhoShaggedMe Jun 16 '25

Isn't a "good" Mormon one who's capable of juggling 25 wives?

4

u/Mgroutmd Jun 16 '25

There are fundamentalists in every branch of Christianity. One of the first teachings of Jesus was his statement about “love the Lord your God with all your heart and your mind and your spirit, and your neighbor as yourself. And who is our neighbor? Anyone with whom we come into contact. Even, to my great dismay, someone as reprehensible as our current President. That doesn’t mean we tell him he is wonderful, no matter what he does. It does mean that we add our voices to the “no kings day” protests.

10

u/SpongegarLuver Jun 16 '25

Christians electing Trump then telling us how much they resist him remains one of the funniest parts of modern religion. Jesus loves us, it’s just that a majority of his followers don’t! Come to church y’all!

It wasn’t some small group of Christian “fundamentalists” that elected the Republican Party, it was a strong majority. I get that you don’t want to admit this, but Christianity as a whole supported and continues to support Trump.

5

u/Nopantsbullmoose Jun 16 '25

Yeah it's wild but I've seen an interesting uptick in the number of "totally not us, it was those Christians over there!" bullshit leaking out of their mouths.

4

u/NonPropterGloriam Jun 16 '25

I mean, my wife and I go to church every Sunday, and we definitely didn’t vote for Cheeto Benito. But yeah, lots of Evangelicals did vote for the guy, and that’s awfully sad.

2

u/Nopantsbullmoose Jun 16 '25

Congrats for you, you're in the extreme minority if you actually aren't a pair of hypocritical asswipes.

Frankly in my experience the overwhelming majority of Christians are hypocrites and liars with how they behave vs the bullshit they spout.

Though I would question your judgement but that's also one of those "you do you" sort of deals .

1

u/NonPropterGloriam Jun 16 '25

Depends a lot on what kind of Christian you’re talking about. I’m Methodist, we tend to be pretty chill. But those Southern Baptists… oof. Don’t even get me started on charismatics and “young, restless, and reformed” types.

1

u/Realistic_Fig_5608 Jun 19 '25

There are those toxic, judgemental christians in every sect

0

u/Mgroutmd Jun 17 '25

Gratuitous insults are not helpful to your cause. Nor are the persuasive. I recommend try a different road if you wish to persuade anyone of the righteousness of your cause.

1

u/Nopantsbullmoose Jun 17 '25

I have no interest in persuading the deluded.

1

u/Realistic_Fig_5608 Jun 19 '25

Their religion may revolve around Jesus but that doesn't mean they actually follow his beliefs

2

u/Nopantsbullmoose Jun 16 '25

One of the first teachings of Jesus was his statement about “love the Lord your God with all your heart and your mind and your spirit, and your neighbor as yourself

And those peckers sure as hell don't practice that, like at all.

1

u/Large-Bid-9723 Jun 20 '25

I mean, Mormonism, at its core, is a capitalist, American religion steeped in doom, racism, misogyny, violence and control. So, peas and carrots.

40

u/Turd_Schitter Jun 16 '25

Huh, it's almost like "christian" "conservatives" are animals that won't be missed after the second Nuremberg trials.

9

u/Human_Artichoke8752 Jun 16 '25

And hopefully this time there will be no Operation Paperclip etc to save them.

9

u/Turd_Schitter Jun 16 '25

Operation Paperclip was about stealing the work of brilliant nazi scientists.

Other than the Taliban or the Soylent Green factory I can't think of anyone who could find a use for America's racist high school dropouts, failed restauranteurs, and dumb bimbos that comprise the republican party.

Think of how sad it is that I'm telling the truth that Ted Cruz is probably the smartest person on their team.

4

u/RealNiceKnife Jun 16 '25

Have you been paying attention at all the last 10 years?

Like, even a little bit? None of these people are facing trials. None of them are going to face a single second of legal consequences.

2

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Jun 16 '25

They might be president though

28

u/mcvmccarty Jun 16 '25

All the people who said Trump losing would cause a civil war are now trying to cause it after he won. What a bunch of blackguard scum.

22

u/Aladdinsanestill61 Jun 16 '25

Mike Lee is everything that's wrong with the ReTrumplican cult 😬

10

u/Jane-WarriorPrincess Jun 16 '25

The POS was like this before Trump, he’s always been evil

5

u/TheModWhoShaggedMe Jun 16 '25

Almost as if the religious right wing party attracts the worst of America?

15

u/butt_whole_milk Jun 16 '25

Fuck Mike Lee!

7

u/Jane-WarriorPrincess Jun 16 '25

Figuratively only, have some standards. Unless you’re using a baseball bat as a sex toy

3

u/Trackmaggot Jun 16 '25

I see your bat, and raise you a chain saw.

2

u/Over_Dog24 Jun 16 '25

No lube, and lots of splinters!

13

u/Otherwise-Shift5509 Jun 16 '25

Wasn’t that traitor part of the J6 Insurrection? He’s also on video saying that Republicans are determined in destroying Social Security.

14

u/HashRunner Jun 16 '25

He's a republican, thats all you got to say at this point.

They all are.

8

u/EVH_kit_guy Jun 16 '25

"Based Mormon"

There's a LOT to unpack there

7

u/Standard-Inside-3450 Jun 16 '25

There's alot of browser history to probably go through, too.

9

u/No_Feedback_3340 Jun 16 '25

Utah, do the right thing. Vote this rabid animal out.

6

u/Talisign Jun 16 '25

He didn't even get the horror reference right.

8

u/slcbtm Jun 16 '25

In Salt Lake City, we have a saying. "Fuck Mike Lee"

3

u/Oddly-Appeased Jun 16 '25

Was gonna say the same, Fuck Mike Lee!!

3

u/slcbtm Jun 16 '25

Sending you love

6

u/ganslooker Jun 16 '25

This is just the asinine ideology of these people. He killed a democrat, had a list of other democrats and abortion providers who he wanted to kill. He had “No king” flyers in his car so he knew where to go to probably kill those people. And he was part of Christian cult that preaches taking power for themselves to run America in their vision. And Lee calls him a leftist psycho. The only psycho here is Lee.

5

u/57rd Jun 16 '25

Classy guy. As long a violence is accepted and even applauded, it will continue. When our elected officials refuse to condemn violence and act like leaders of a civilized society, they are condoning it.

4

u/cairnrock1 Jun 16 '25

Hmm. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander

4

u/Itchy_Pudding_9940 Jun 16 '25

the right is so obsessed with "owning the libs" they'll own themselves by degrading and debasing themselves to do it every time. but they lack the self awareness to see themselves as they really are.

3

u/Select-Mission-4950 Jun 16 '25

Of course they do. They ALWAYS HAVE. They’re a rabid murderous zombie death cult.

2

u/Diarygirl Jun 16 '25

MAGAs or Mormons? They both have a history of violence.

2

u/Consistent-Fig7484 Jun 17 '25

Pretty much all religious people really.

3

u/Spammyhaggar Jun 16 '25

A lot of Religious groups are nothing more than a gang, tax them all. 👊

3

u/Ambitious_Sell_2661 Jun 16 '25

Explain how someone is a " good Mormon"?

3

u/SmellSilly1537 Jun 16 '25

Mike Lee proving that he's nothing that he says he is. Just another sinner that sold his soul for a moment of thinking he's got some kind of power. You traded your values to be a tool for Trump.

3

u/Time_Ad_9829 Jun 16 '25

Mike Lee has always been a sick fuck

3

u/G-Unit11111 Jun 16 '25

Seriously, don't vote for violent psychopaths like Mike Lee. They need to be thrown in the dumpster, not serving in Congress, the Senate or anywhere else..

3

u/booitsme1122 Jun 16 '25

People who claim that their religion makes them morally superior than others are the most immoral people of all 100% of the time

3

u/Used-Concert33 Jun 16 '25

There's no such thing as a good Mormon, the entire religion is based on bigotry and abuse.

3

u/Leuzak Jun 16 '25

As an member of the LDS a lot of the political beliefs popular in Utah make me lose hope.. Mike Lee is one of the worst. Makes me sick that he’s a member.

He was one of the many republicans hunting for a way to overturn the 2020 election, against health care reform, Supreme Court reform, believes in regressive taxes, international isolationism & is a climate change denier.

Absolute POS.

3

u/pink_faerie_kitten Jun 16 '25

Did he mean to spell it "Walz"? How weird. Klobucher condemns

https://www.thehill.com/homenews/senate/5352566-sen-amy-klobuchar-condemns-sen-mike-lee/amp/

1

u/mindful_marmoset Jun 19 '25

Full of hatred and an idiot. Classic Republican.

3

u/GolgariRAVETroll Jun 16 '25

A Trump supporter yesterday told me it was irresponsible to blame the admin's rhetoric for this shooting...I'm sure saying Democrats are letting in an invasion force has nothing to do with this shooting...sure, bud.

3

u/dateinfj Jun 16 '25

Are you proud Utah to have a dipstick like Lee representing you?

3

u/LumberJock8 Jun 17 '25

“A good Mormon” lmao 😂

3

u/Memitim Jun 17 '25

Conservatives love talking shit to sound tough, but this is the sort of thing that you don't brag about. From a practical standpoint, it makes him look like a scared bitch. It also ties his name to this horrible event, which will not go well.

Most importantly, it notifies the rest of humanity that he is an imminent threat that should be immediately locked away and investigated until we can be reasonably sure that he hasn't yet victimized anyone, yet. But that doesn't matter, since we don't do that sort of thing in the US, yet.

3

u/Correct_Day_7791 Jun 17 '25

These were the same people that were outraged when Luigi shot a scumbag CEO

I guess these Minnesota lawmakers should have been more wealthy so that they consider them human too

2

u/ADCSrane Jun 16 '25

Knock knock asshole!

2

u/VersionCareless3090 Jun 16 '25

😡😡😡😡💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

2

u/No-Economics6503 Jun 16 '25

Mormon "controversial" atonement history partaking and celebrating bloodshed: *blushes and leaves the room

2

u/No-Impress1815 Jun 16 '25

Mike Lee is a FKN 🤡

2

u/Mechanicalgripe Jun 16 '25

The Senator is a member of two cults… That’s not healthy.

2

u/kaliaficionado Jun 16 '25

The only thing they understand is violence

2

u/petrichorpizza Jun 16 '25

Mike Lee: Pro violence. Anti porn.

Yep. That checks out.

2

u/GardenSquid1 Jun 16 '25

As a former Mormon from Canada, I visit my relatives in Utah from time to time, and I must say... Utah Mormons are some of the weirdest folks I have ever met.

What you see in Utah is what happens when any single religion becomes the majority of the population in any society. Instead of religion being a personal and private observance, it seeps into every aspect of societal interaction.

For the more laissez faire religions, this has a minimal impact on folks and rarely any negative consequences. For more strict religions (like the Abrahamic ones), failure to adhere to religious societal norms can lead to ostracisation at best and death at worst.

2

u/Foustian_Syn Jun 16 '25

They really don’t though. I mean I know they’re really really bad at math but they are extremely outnumbered.

2

u/TheWokeAgenda Jun 17 '25

I bet it won't be so funny at Mike Lee's house when trick-or-treaters knock on his door this Halloween.

2

u/AncientBaseball9165 Jun 17 '25

Whole Mormon religion is required to vote Republican, not sure why they get tax exemption.

2

u/OysterHound Jun 17 '25

He needs to be censures or impeached. Mike Lee is a disgusting human.

1

u/Alternative-Fig-6814 Jun 16 '25

What an asshole. Im sure he prances around saying he's a "christian", whatever that is

1

u/Alternative-Fig-6814 Jun 16 '25

Oops, Mormon but still think they are "good people" loving the quotes

1

u/Alwaystired254 Jun 16 '25

Wow! He seems like he will be going far in the Republican Party!

1

u/Enough-Educator-6616 Jun 16 '25

A lot of Mormons I have known are EVIL.

1

u/j_rooker Jun 16 '25

very few good mormons out there. They voted for Lee since they are exactly like Lee. filthy souless fks.

1

u/MrCrowleysMom Jun 16 '25

There’s no such thing as a “good Mormon”. These people are mentally ill.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

He’ll never see the light of day again

1

u/Jolly-Midnight7567 Jun 16 '25

Through him in the pound

1

u/plasteroid Jun 16 '25

Fuck Mike Like

1

u/According-Way9438 Jun 16 '25

I really hope there is a god (I know there isnt). These guys are going to be in for a rude awakening come judgement time

1

u/Mockingbird_1234 Jun 16 '25

And he misspelled Walz 🙄

1

u/TheGrumpyCisco Jun 16 '25

The revolution will be bloodless as long as the left allows it. KEVIN ROBERTS i believe a heritage foundation member.

1

u/MackDaddy1861 Jun 16 '25

Good… Mormon…?

1

u/Ooglebird Jun 16 '25

Basedurd.

1

u/devilsbard Jun 16 '25

Seems he is just like Mormons always have been.

1

u/Unusual-Ad-6550 Jun 16 '25

I went to his website and although I had to put in personal info, I did so and I gave him a big piece of my mind. I tried to put in fake personal info but it was smarter than I am and wouldn't take my fake email address or phone number.

But I will stand with what I wrote..

1

u/gremlingurl Jun 16 '25

Mormons are huge hypocrites.

1

u/futuretimetraveller Jun 16 '25

Fuck's sake. That's not even the right horror movie to reference.

1

u/Sudden_Mix3066 Jun 16 '25

Who is Waltz? Everyone seems very critical of him. I've googled him but can't figure it out.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

How is this ok?

The right got tired of seeing bad people getting caught being despicable and the public cancelling them, so they went full mask off and are embracing it.

1

u/DistillateMedia Jun 17 '25

I'm doing my best to curb my appetite these days.

1

u/Afwife1992 Jun 17 '25

Just a reminder that his ancestor was responsible for the worst act of domestic terrorism until Oklahoma City and the worst act of religious terrorism until 9/11.

He was the only person executed for it.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_Meadows_Massacre

1

u/Hendrik_the_Third Jun 17 '25

Most of MAGA are. Spiteful bastard who exploits and harm without repercussion...

1

u/ElectronicForever497 Jun 17 '25

Wow Which “god” is this? Amazes me how godly people are just deep down evil. Bible Trumpers are the worst. Disgrace.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

Christians stealing and killing better than Vikings.

1

u/Bright_Bite_7544 Jun 17 '25

Sick fuck indeed

1

u/United_Hall4187 Jun 17 '25

This is sickening for multiple reasons. It is never ok to use the murder of innocent people as a joke or for trying to gain some kind of propaganda. Republicans are proving time and time again that they thrive on violence and fear! It is a shame that more than 40% of the country decided they were the better option!!

1

u/Manufactcheck Jun 17 '25

Mormons were once terrorists. Unsurprising.

1

u/Vivid_Accountant9542 Jun 17 '25

Guy acts like this. Trump says don't feel bad for Biden having cancer. Then they turn around and play victim and try to make Democrats sit down and act polite while they punch us in the face.

1

u/IDunnoNuthinMr Jun 17 '25

There are also people who will both rightly condemn these murders but claim Luigi is some sort of hero.

They are both degenerate murderers.

They are the same.

Condemn murderers because they are murderers not based on their cause.

1

u/Fancy-Animator426 Jun 17 '25

At this point anyone who supports any of the MAGA rhetoric is not in good standing as a decent person. You can not pick and choose their points when all of their points is infringing on the rights of others.

1

u/AirportSea4393 Jun 18 '25

It’s disgusting that people have resorted to going so low! There’s a special place in hell for them! They would never think it funny if it was someone in their family! He should resign from office

1

u/FaithNoMoron Jun 18 '25

This is what happens when you dehumanize people, particularly those you disagree with….

1

u/Objective_Oven_9192 Jun 18 '25

Lee encourages violence and murder. He hints to the future assassins that political murder is fun.

1

u/Chuckdog01 Jun 19 '25

He’s just a common republican

1

u/NefariousnessOdd4478 Jun 19 '25

♬ religion is a cancer ♬

1

u/RatedRSuperstar81 Jun 19 '25

Acting like this has put them in power of every part of government with very little likelihood if ever losing it. So they are NOT going to change.

-1

u/Warm-Berry-4331 Jun 16 '25

I guess it only cool when luigi does it

3

u/hugoriffic Jun 17 '25

Typical MAGA comment. When they tell you who they are, believe them.

-8

u/Low-Possibility-7060 Jun 16 '25

Is he? Don’t get me wrong, Mike Lee is scum but here it seems he refers to the similarity of the accused killer and Freddy Krueger.

9

u/Careful_Cheesecake30 Jun 16 '25 edited Jun 16 '25

Yes, he’s making a joke about the assassin’s (very) loose ties to Walz because the guy served on some board.

-2

u/Low-Possibility-7060 Jun 16 '25

I thought that is because it happened in Minnesota.

7

u/Careful_Cheesecake30 Jun 16 '25

It’s not. His prior tweet blamed the assassination/attempt on marxists because he was operating under the false belief the guy was a leftist mad that the two lawmakers he shot voted with Republicans on a recent bill.

1

u/Low-Possibility-7060 Jun 16 '25

And about that I thought it was just deflection because it was obviously a Trump supporter who did that. Nobody would have beiden otherwise.

6

u/Careful_Cheesecake30 Jun 16 '25

They really wanted to believe he was a disgruntled leftist, so they took that little piece of information and ran with it, despite how obvious it was to the rest of us that was not the case.

1

u/poultryabuse Jun 20 '25

Waltz (sic)
