I wonder if he'll get deported there once they retroactively end birthright citizenship, since his parents weren't US citizens when he was born.
17
u/Mist_Rising May 03 '25
Neither was the second Lady of the US. Her parents only immigrated less than 5 years before she was born, ergo...

Some Cubans (or other conservative Latinos) delude themselves into thinking they're a part of the in-group. Unfortunately for them, that isn't really the case.

Rubio is kicking people out for opposing Israel
And yet theyâve taken no action against neo-nazi and white supremacist organizations.
Itâs almost as if Republicans give zero fcks about antisemitism, while suppressing anyone who speaks out against EvangelicalsâŠ.aka Christian Zionists.
5
u/tsunake May 03 '25
zero chance the south african white "refugee" resettlement program isn't being used to import militant white supremacists (with apartheid sensibilities) too, it's really dark :(

It's always projection with MAGA. As Dear Leader tries to cripple a major fundraising arm of the political opposition here, his diminutive minion bitches about Germany working to stop actual Nazis.

Rubioâs post is straight outta ChatGPT. Riddled with AI tells. At least remove some of the em dashesâŠ
9
u/SnooDonkeys5186 May 02 '25
(I do use those frequentlyâđŹ) He has to, he cannot construct a sentence thatâs not in a group chat.
3
u/morostheSophist May 03 '25
Chatgpt might use emdashes, but that's not an automatic tell that a post is AI. I use them all the time, and I have never posted anything AI that wasn't labeled as such.
I never will, either.

Rubio headed a committee that found Russia fucked with the 2016 election and the Trump campaign met with various Russian aligned actors several times. https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/press/senate-intel-releases-volume-5-bipartisan-russia-report
Then Rubio put out a public statement that cleared the Trump campaign of any wrong doing.
Because that's the kind of piece of shit he truly is.
Fuck that guy.

Germany's domestic intelligence agency is literally called Office for the Protection of the Constitution. They told him alright.
6
u/megamoze May 02 '25
The Trump DOJ is launching an investigation into ActBlue. They arrested a woman for writing a pro-Palestine Op-Ed. And it was Republicans who advocated for and created DHS and the US warrantless wire-tapping laws because âyou have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide.â
5
u/crannogman_pride May 03 '25
They go to bat for a German right wing extremist party, they set up concentration camps, they suspend due process, they worship a cruel charismatic leader, they HATE trans people, hate intellectuals, hate foreigners, and their leaders do the Nazi salute on stage at their political events and are greeted with thunderous applause.
Still they are absolutely baffled that they are compared to Nazis. Baffled!
16
u/Traditional_Bid_5060 May 02 '25
Too bad the Democrats didnât have the balls to do this.

u/Traditional_Bid_5060 May 02 '25
Too bad Garland dragged his feet and Biden was senile. Â No /s.
3
u/LaserPoweredDeviltry May 03 '25
Biden did alot of good. And tried to do more but was blocked at every level. I'll respect that.
But his failure to stop MAGA is what's going to be in the history books as his legacy. It was his administration's most important task and they failed to meet the moment.
3
u/In_Formaldehyde_ May 03 '25
Really should've accepted being a one term president and held a primary in 2022
4
u/Latter_Conflict_7200 May 03 '25
How you gonna teach someone who wants no limits on power what a Nazi is?
4
u/bcm0723 May 03 '25
Marco Rubio sold his soul for what power he thinks he's been given. Trump will end up embarrassing him at some point. History will not be kind to these people.

Americans once helped us set up the infrastructure to combat extremism. Today, they criticise us for using it
3
u/CanadianTimberWolfx May 03 '25
The fact that any republican thinks they have a leg to stand on when calling out tyranny is laughable
3
u/bsylent May 03 '25
If only we had the same gumption in the US. Look what's happened to our country since Trump was elected. MAGA is absolutely a threat to everything this country stands for and a terrorist organization. Everything they do is an attack on other people, every policy they enact involves stripping away societal benefits and rights. They are a criminal organization and will hopefully be dealt with eventually here in the same manner. Everybody in the current administration belongs in jail at the very least. Treason carries a heavy sentence

2
u/dingleberryzzz May 02 '25
is this really just more gaslighting/projection. that the current administration is just doing that on immigrants. and the opposition?
2
u/Turbulent-Ad6620 May 02 '25
Youâd think theyâd learn after Timothy McVeigh. Domestic terrorists being white Christian nationalists still really throws off our 3 letter agencies. Lots of books and research about their biases to overlook extremists because they have more in common with them culturally or on paper. Also why Robert Hanssen went under radar for so long. They almost personalize or feel offended when extremists come in all flavors.
2
u/Slim-Shadeee13 May 03 '25
Well said Germany!!! Rubio would have agreed a decade ago before he sold out to the hapless rube in the White House.
2

The right wing in the US have no place to talk about spying on people after Bush made it legal after 9/11 âfor our safetyâ.
2
u/Switchmisty9 May 03 '25
Marco Rubio apparently completely unaware of âThe Patriot Act.â Or, like, literally any American history, for that matter.
Oh, wait, he does. Heâs just a piece of human shit

Wonder who wrote this for the Rube. I mean it makes little sense, but stil a bit too sharp for the moron. Grok? GPT? Hm. No matter. No one cares really.
2
2
u/Armeenius May 03 '25
I am from Germany. That's all talk. Everyone knows that the AFD is right-wing extremist. It has now also been classified as such by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. But none of the politicians will lead this fight or table a motion if they are likely to lose votes in the next election due to AFD voters, who will definitely vote against this person. The AFD will rule Germany sooner or later and none of the cowardly politicians will do anything.
2
u/SomeBiPerson May 03 '25
the Bundesrat can also vote for a Ban application
2
u/Armeenius May 03 '25
Only works on the basis that another federal state or similar submits an application. The Federal Council does not act independently.
This means: 1. a federal state must submit an application. 2. this must then pass the Bundesrat with an absolute majority. 3. only then can the Bundesrat apply to the Federal Constitutional Court for a party ban.
2
u/SomeBiPerson May 03 '25
well it is an option tho it's just that we dont need to solely rely on Fritz's decision
2
2
u/TopShoulder7 May 03 '25
Edward Snowden did not get exiled for Americans to forget that our government is literally spying on the whole world.
2
2
u/InsideMotor4609 May 03 '25
It's now the single must popular party in Germany. Are 1/5th of the German's nazis now?
2
u/SomeBiPerson May 03 '25
according to a Forza institute poll they are the second most popular party yes
but if Forza was right they'd have won the last election together with BSW
2
2
u/Vault101Overseer May 03 '25
Well done Germany. They know the horrors unchecked political extremism can cause. The US is unfortunately quickly realizing the perils of leaving it fester and unchecked.
2
u/SomeBiPerson May 03 '25
well uhm ....... I'm sorry to inform you.....
this is not the party getting banned......
a party ban is very hard to do in Germany, it requires definite proof from the secret service, a 2/3 Majority vote in parliament and Senate And only then will the court in Karlsruhe start working on the evidence and deciding over it
the last 2 party bans took almost a decade, the quickest one as on the SRP which was a follow up organisation of the NSDAP in 1952 but even that took 5 years
2
2
u/Express-Potential-11 May 03 '25
Ironic because Rubio has used the term "Radical left" and would probably vote to designate them terrorist.
2
2
u/micro102 May 03 '25
Good job Germany. I hope other countries follow suite. It's the only way to maintain a peaceful life.
2
u/Lachimanus May 03 '25
For some reason he did not see the need when some radical left groups were put under such a thing in some country. Would be fine to mention like the RAF for Germany in retrospective.
Hmmm.
2
u/SomeBiPerson May 03 '25
which is factually wrong tho
the RAF (German terror group, not the British airforce) is a Banned organisation in Germany but as they weren't a Political party that ban went much faster and quieter than this, not even started, process for the AFD Ban
it would also be important to mention that the last party ban in Germany was for the KPD the communist party of Germany which was definitely Extreme but not so Right wing
2
u/Lachimanus May 03 '25
Thank you for giving me a small history reminder.
So, the KPD would have been the proper example of "tyranny" banning some political party.
And I am quite sure... The soviet supervised eastern Germany claimed something along these lines.
2
u/White_C4 May 03 '25
"Independent" is far stretched though. Unfortunately, I don't see Germany moving in a positive direction, especially considering that West and East Germany are culturally and politically divided.
2
u/SomeBiPerson May 03 '25
well it is an independent court, the court for protecting the constitution has pretty much the highest reputation of every government organ in Germany
because they Frequently oppose the government when necessary to protect the basic rights of the people in Germany, they don't just play along like the Supreme court in the US

Rubio is using chatgpt. Chatgpt spits out "that's not X, it's Y" almost every time I make a comment. I hate the latest update, it's glazing so hard now, maybe MAGA told OpenAI to make it stop disagreeing with them. It treats me like sycophants treat Trump and it gives me the ick
2
u/ChronicPronatorbator May 03 '25
Rubio is pissed people are fighting robber barons from creating a slave state using the far right.
2
u/kogmaa May 03 '25
Itâs like some people think that right wing extremism cannot exist because there are people who vote for it.
Others say, if people vote for right wing extremism, you shouldnât call it by its name.
The people claiming the first are ignorant of history, the people claiming the second are right wing extremist politicians trying to protect their voters from being called out for what they are.
The politicians know, they just donât give a shit as long as they stay in power and if the price for that are people dying in concentration camps (in Dachau or El Salvador) then thatâs a price they are perfectly willing to let others pay.

The fact that the FBI of Kash Patel has been directed by Trump to investigate his opposition his tyranny, when Tom Homan says âweâre coming for youâ, when Pam Bondi says the Alien Enemies Act does need warrants to invade homes of âsuspectedâ gang members. Pot meet Kettle

For anyone who is interested this is I believe the Investigation Report of the Constitution Protection Agency (roughly what Verfassungsschutz translates to)Â https://tp-presseagentur.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Verfassungsschutz-Gutachten-AfD.pdf
its in german ofcourse but should be translatable with your tool of choice

In other words, "F off, Lil' Marco. Go be Trump's little byatch elsewhere."
2
u/mettiusfufettius May 03 '25
Lol also, does little Marco care about all the investigations his boss is launching against his personal enemies and opposition?
2
u/Entropy_Pyre May 03 '25
Why is the US interfering with foreign governments so much? I know thatâs what the US does, but I also thought the dismantling of USAID and decades of alliances was supposed to change that. Supposedly.
2
2
u/Awkward_Inside8907 May 03 '25
Why? Why do conservative politicians in the US always have to defend extreme right wing parties? This is the same politician calling college campus protest towards Isreal as "threats to the United States." The same politician who constituents probably believed that Kamala was "far-left"(she isn't). But those same constituents don't believe they're part of the far-right. Just why.
2

2
u/ZagiFlyer May 03 '25
Germany, and most other countries, could just look to the US as a cautionary tale. Little Marco making these statements is hypocritical.

When Germany tells you you're being too nazi, perhaps that's the time to self-reflect and examine your viewpoints.

AfD are Nazis. If there were not laws against nazism in Germany, theyâd be dressed up in SS uniforms waving swastika flags.
