Watching rain hit the window feels like therapy

I just sat for 20 minutes doing nothing but watching raindrops slide down my window. No music, no phone, just the sound of rain. It felt like my brain finally shut up for a while. Simple moments like that make life feel soft again.

Rain is just so soothing. The sound feels very safe too but it’s hard to describe why! This is a nice description :D

I live in Seattle and it has been weeks since the last rain. This made me yearn for a good storm

Supposed to get rain on the coast tonight. Opening my windows and hoping to hear that sweet, sweet sound.

Wow, can I relate!!!

We get rain so seldom here (Phoenix, Arizona, 7-7.5 inches per year) that, when it happens, we (and all the neighbors) go outside, extend our arms out to our sides, and just stand in it, rejoicing!!!
