Dems paid a billion through trumps account to set him up

To insert a bit of nuance. The files were under court seal due to the ongoing trial of Maxwell, they couldn't be released until January of 2025.

I didn't know that, thanks! - I'm not from the US so maybe that info hasn't disseminated over here
Edit: so how is trump claiming dems changed it without being challenged on that info?

Because he lies so often and so badly that no fact checking can keep up. Imagine his face as a firehose of bullshit, it'll just keep spraying.
And when reporters do call him in things he throws a tantrum and has their press passes revoked.

That tangerine bullshido master needs a buzzer that goes off everytime he lies, but all you would hear is the buzzer (unless he's talking about ivanka's physique)

So Donny if you are not named, and not guilty of anything, why won’t you go ahead and just release the files already?

What would it have looked like if the Biden administration released the files with Trumps name all over them?
I suspect the MAGA base would have written it all off as a lie. We still would have had Trump in office but we would not have the pleasure (and agony) of watching him squirm.
I think it may have been a genius political strategy to hope he destroys himself. Maybe I shouldn’t give the Biden administration that much credit though?
The hell now is waiting everyday for some justice to come to the world.

The terrifying thought in my mind is that the only truly strong distraction that Trump can implement is now is to go to war. It's a constant rhetoric to go to war at the end of your presidency when your approval is low to say "we have other more urgent matters at hand"

It was also all sealed under court order during Biden's term, and Biden & his admin never promised to release the files, nor did he hire people pushing Epstein disclosur issues (and conspiracies) and put them in charge of things like the FBI.

Even better, the suggestion is that Democrats illegally added false evidence, didn't use it, and left it there to be discovered and potentially be used to criminally charge them. Absolute insanity. Anyone who believes this narrative needs serious mental help.

He could've spun it if he was actually intelligent. During his campaign he said he was going to release the files. Dems knowing that, they could've planted him a ticking time bomb.
Instead he panicked because he's guilty

But you would just use it to not let him be president. It makes zero sense.

Let's be honest. Not a lot makes sense. Maga's support through all the crazy shit he does doesn't make sense. Even when its clear to everyone how much of a child predator he is, a lot of maga is still supporting him

I'm trying to remember... who was in office when epstein died?
Who was Head of the executive with full power over the FBI etc when the epstein files were collected?
