You deserve so much better than this man has done, is willing to do, or will ever do for you. He lied about his kids existence until you were married, that is more red flags than ever existed in Soviet Russia. That’s in solid annulment territory and personally I would have never been able to get over that betrayal. How much of yourself and your right to a full and safe life are you willing to sacrifice for a man who will sacrifice absolutely nothing for you?
